    Do they have to be long? Have you considered getting shellac? Perfect nail polish that lasts about 14 days before chipping, and isn't bad for your nails like glue ones or acrylics.

    But, doesn't add length obviously. Just a perfect colour

    No they're different the gel is applied & then cured under uv light less damaging to the natural nail

    The glue on ones also have a 'sticker' to stick for one night rather than glue.
    I might try this

    Use pure acetone can get it from big w or Hardware stores
