Default When did your LO cut their first tooth?

My DS is just shy of 11 months and as yet has not cut one tooth.

He doesn't drool and doesn't gnaw on things to relieve discomfort, I also can't see any teeth or whiteness below the surface of his gums and so it doesn't appear like they are imminent either.

How old was your LO when they cut their first tooth, are there many that celebrated their first Birthday completely gummy? And are there any implications for late teethers?

Alorah was 8 months when she cut her first tooth she started teething at 3 months however they used to come up then go back down did this for months but non of her teeth comming through have really troubled her only when 4 molars where comming through all at once did she pain and horrible symptoms I think it's completely normal for your little one to not have cut a tooth yet but I'd suggest if your really worried to possibly see a dentist or talk to your practitioner ) wishing you all the best

My DD hasn't cut any (7 months) but wanted to share that I didn't get my first tooth until I was 13months and I haven't had any problems :-)

From what I am aware of, this can really vary quite a lot between kids. My first son didn't cut his first tooth until over 9 months old (and it was not in the 'usual' order either), but DS2 has just got his second at 6 months. I wouldn't worry, but you could always just get him checked by a dentist if it would ease your mind.

Sounds like this might be us too then. Did it seem more painful for your DS as he was a bit older, did he get a few all at once?

DS was about 6.5 mths I think. He is almost 8 mths and has 6 now.

His cousin cut her first around 12mths. There is such a wide range of "normal"!
