Default Toys for just turned 2yr old boy

My DS1 turns 2 in Sept - I'm trying to put a list together of what he would like for his bday and Xmas this year for family (I'm buying an IPad mini as a combined present).

I realise today that most of his toys are now considered quite 'babyish' for him, so we do genuinely need some new ones!

He already has a massive train table that he ha just started playing with, so please give me some more ideas

My 2yo ds' loves his trains, duplo, sandpit, smart trike (have just set it up into trike mode...aka removed handle etc)
he loves painting, drawing, music, ball games, jumping.
    Still loves books.
I have just got him some figurines to play with, octonaughts, and some animals.....he puts them into containers or his tonka truck, we put them in a tray with rice.....
He is also really playing with cars, trucks etc now ....and is obsessed with helicopters ever since we seen the ambulance one land across the road a couple of months ago.

My son is 2.5 and loves his train set. He's really in to puzzles at the moment and also tools.

My 2 year old DS's favourite toys are:

    Two large dump trucks
    Schleich animals
    Play-Doh set
    Chalkboard easel
    Duplo
    Matchbox cars

He also loves sand & water tables (he doesn't have one of his own, but we'll be getting one at Xmas).
