My mother had a friend named Karen. Pronounced Carr-en. She had a daughter named Ryan. Pronounced Rhi-arn.

I knew 3 sisters growing up. Twins were Anna and Baby and the other sister was Lady.

Centrelink apparently didn't like my daughters middle name. It's a "normal" name but international spelling. Katelijn, and despite her birth certificate saying so, they continue to put Katelyn.

And for the posts way back when about the spelling of names. My name is Jessica, one of the most common there is, and I still get asked. I also received a certificate once with it spelled Jeazica

This almost seems like an Indian (or similar) name?
