I like some unusual names but not the weird spellings of regular names.

Loving Jay Dashiell (pron Dash-uhl) for our (possible) boy due in May 2016.

My daughter was going to be Shanti ( means peaceful mind) .... Most ppl weren't keen on that one ... Hubby named her Georgie when I was stilled zonked out after c section. Loving Georgie though

On page 86 (I think) someone was mentioning Erykah as weird. No one knows Erykah Badu, great singer from Texas? Cannot believe....

As of really eyebrow raising name I saw lately it is Swastika. Is in my son school. For me the name is very menacing (given my background and Polish history) but it turns out it is very popular Nepalese name and means "ray of sun" or something like that. Also pronunciation is slightly different (Shoshtika).

    Saint West.... no comment.
