It's sounds like something from Game of Thrones... but would be nicer as Raegan (ray-gan).

I saw an Ada'Lynne and Leeum on fb yesterday. Not horrible names (one of them is my child's name!) but the spelling! Why?!!

Leeum makes me cringe. It comes across to me like they didn't know how to spell it, so just wrote it like it sounds. Very unflattering. I wonder what percent of these kids will grow up and change their name to the more traditional spelling.

Ahh!! My eyes. I bet the parents will be the type to get all annoyed when people mispronounce their kids' names too.

I may have said this before in this thread, but I dread to think of some of the names my kids will go to school with. To be honest the you-neek trend seems to have settled a bit since 2013. Maybe I just haven't noticed them all though.

    This ^^

I also know a La'teesha - I just assumed her parents didn't know how to spell... Poor thing.

Ok, so not technically a horrible name, but a very unfortunate name that doesn't translate well from its asian heritage...

    Phuc Dat Bich

    Yep.

Kristin Cavallari (who used to be on Laguna Beach/The Hills) had her third child, a daughter called Saylor James.

I don't mind the name Sailor, spelled traditionally, but no, she had to put the Y in there to make it yooneek.

Ooh, I didn't realised she'd had the baby, and a girl after two boys. I agree with you on the spelling, totally unnecessary to add the 'y', why, oh why!
