Yeah I figured. But usually it would be 'a variation' of the original name, and since Naomi is in the Bible I would guess that is the root name

    Insert sigh here LOLz
This is mainly hilarious to me because my sisters name is Theresa Browne hahahahahahah

Hmm, Lucifer is a legitimate name though... it's where we get Luke, Luca, etc from.
    Honour is also a name.

    Odd.

I went to school with a Niomie also *shudder*

I have coached a Storm in netball. She didn't live up to the promises of her name, though.
The names I consider the most awful are the traditional ones spelled weird, drives me mad!

I've heard a two shockers lately but I fear they are both on the hub and would definitely know who I am and who I am meaning if I mention them! I cringe every time I seem them.

The issue with traditional names being given different spelling can be summed up in what happened on the weekend.

Called for a Taxi at the Tim Nevillle Arboritum.

    'How do you spell Tim?'

That's like YEARS ago I was watching the news and it had a piece on Michael Jackson visiting a childrens hospital. He was signing autographs, asked a child what his name was to write down and the child replied "Ben"... so MJ then asks "how do you spell that?"

Dude.. think back to your hit song from when you were a pimped out kid!
