I've come across two in the last couple of years, neither spelt the traditional way! I prefer the traditional spelling, with all names really.

Dont know if this is a horrible way to spell a childs name to others or if its just me.. But SIL has all her kids names spelt differently. 2 arent so bad but one of them really is just too much for me to handle lol. She decided to take it upon herself to change the name Chloe to Khloie.

I like Sunny! The two names I've come across that I don't like are Diesel, and Holden. Yup. Holden.

Holden could be after Holden Caulfield (Catcher in the Rye). If it's after the car then I'm not a fan - though I guess people would make that association regardless.

i went to school with a girl called "terra" , as in Terra australis . she was kiwi, or kiwi parents? it sort of translates to 'earth' , but it sounded very odd to my ears. sounds just like ' terror" . marie
