    Ok so this isn't horrible baby name, but a horrible surname... came up in an American friend's fb newsfeed.

    I definitely see where you are coming from as that would be horrible in Aus, but w*nk/w*nker is not in the general US vocab...it's a British term. I know Americans and Canadians who've not heard of that term before.
