With that explanation I'm ok with it! I'd happily remove it from this thread lol I don't like it personally but with the history of it it's a good name lol

I know 2 little boys named hunter and I think it's a really cute name but eek! The spelling doesn't need changing at all!!

Love the name Hunter but why do people have to ruin it with poor spelling

Ugh I know a Hunta. I had heard his name spoken for a few months (he's a friend of a friends child) then saw it written and was so grossed out lol. Hunter doesn't make me think of a naughty word but Hunta sure does.

I don't get it! We love it (obviously!) and it really suits my DS but I get irrationally annoyed with weird spellings of names.

I've heard of someone who named their son T-Shaun (just wrong).
And someone named their daughter Alisha ( pronounced like Elijah) and I'm just like no, I'm saying it like Alicia

I saw Kasen on Facebook and wondered if they knew they named their son after a milk protein (casein).
