This bugs me so much lol, I can never get one of those things because my parents spelled my normal name the French way
Given that and the frustration of having to spell my name for everyone (and getting called Annie all the time), I spelled my DDs normal name normally lol (misspelled names bug me so much).
Made up names, misspelled names, brand names and other unique names bug me (I feel sympathy for the poor kid having to live with that name, it really does get frustrating). So I'm a bit boring in my name preferences, these days though that's more unique then the unique names lol. My pets do have more interesting type names (tv, book characters I like ).
All that being said, often after meeting a person with a different name nothing else would suit them iykwim So no judging or anything, it's just my person taste

Oh, and Scott Neville was in my year at school.

    No, I am not kidding.
I must be daft, I don't get the Scott one?
