Can I ask what breed the dog is? There is other rescue places out there that will retrain and foster until a new forever home is found. The pound will just put the dog to sleep as he is a surrender and he wont get a second chance.

The animal refuge here has a non euthanasia policy but only takes animals when they have space. So will have to see.

He's a bitzer. The lady we got him from was calling him a staffy x mastiff but he's definitely got more in him than that.
