Default Angelcare Baby sound and movement monitor

My MIL has kindly sent me an Angelcare Baby sound and movement monitor.
I'm expecting twins and the pack has 2 movement sensor pads.

I haven't set it up yet, and the instructions don't say, but I am wondering if the movement sensors can be turned off and the system just used for sound only (or can I just not plug the movement pads in)?

Yes you can do it either way - have the sensors plugged in but use the sound only mode, or unplug the sensors and use sound only mode.

We have been very happy with our monitor
