Default What are you spending your tax or supplements on?

Another curious post. I remember someone starting a thread about this last year and saw some really great ideas so I thought I'd ask again.

If you're getting a tax refund this year or FTB supplements, what are you planning to spend it on?

I'll be paying our car rego with the FTB supps (timing couldn't be better on that!) and with tax I'm planning to pay off my credit card and pay for a trip to visit my family. Anything that's left over will go onto the kids Xmas laybys and school uniforms for DS1 for next year.

    I will have a debt :-(

But DP should get an amazing tax return. If she is not pregnant (currently in TWW) then it will most likely be spent on more IUI costs and also a new pair of work shoes for her. If she is pregnant, probably expensive baby things like car seats

Most likely bills or getting the car serviced.

We will get a nice return from DHs tax plus my backpay and supplements from CL and we are buying all new furniture (except beds) for all 3 bedrooms and whatever is left we will pay extra off a personal loan. I am so excited, I can't wait

Dhs tax return is minimal so that will be funding a cot mattress for Ds2 due in Sept and a lovely dinner for DH and I (we haven't had a nice meal out alone since ds1 was born).

Not too sure about how much the supps will be but hopefully we will be able to get a double pram with it. We also want to use it to buy Ds1 2nd birthday presents for Sept. Anything left over will be saved for any bill that comes up that we cant pay with our usual fortnightly pay eg; rego or power.

Sounds all materialistic but we don't get much during the year thanks to strict budgeting...so Its nice to go out and buy something without feeling guilty

Put in the savings account for new furniture once our house is built.

My PPL is about to run out, so I will be living off my tax return and CCR return until I go back to work in January. Boring! Last year I got a Dyson and a few new dresses, then put the rest in savings.

My tax will be my spending money for our holiday in Sept

Supps? No idea...not even sure if I get them, this is the first year I've received CL payments so still don't know how they all work! If I get something though it will help when my PPL runs out.
