I've decided to go ahead with the name Saige and it has made me so happy. I'm much more relaxed now : )
Excellent news! Stick with what YOU and DP love. It is afterall, your child.

Im sure it doesn't stop with the names. Ppl have always and will always have an opinion on how you should birth, drugs/natural, cloth/disposable, demand/schedule feeding.. the list goes on. You would likely drive yourself nuts in the process.. and it's just not possible to keep everyone happy. So do what works for you and your family... that's my opinion. - of course.. feel free to ignore that too!

Not many people like our boy name. I don't really care because we love it. I know my mum is going to hate it so I haven't told her yet
What I don't get it is why people think its appropriate to mouth off if they don't like it. It's not about them and I didn't ask their opinion, i just told them what we had chosen.
When friends of mine tell me their name list and I don't like it, I wouldn't be so rude as to say its awful. Jut because its not my taste doesn't make it bad.

My Mum hates both my children's names, I don't care - I dislike all the names she gave to her children too

When people say that they have had negative feedback about names I spend the next hour or so wondering what it could be lol ... Drives me nuts!

Not at all! She doesn't see that at all unfortunately even when I get worked up and walk out she keeps doing it! So frustrating! But it's due date today so once she is here her name is going to stick! Hehe
