Well I'm back from EPU with 10 eggs, now awaiting the fertilisation results tomorrow. Going ahead with 24sure and freezing. However didn't realise that you need to wait a cycle before ET so looks like ill wait till November as we are off to UK just when we'd be n our 2week wait and don't want that stress on my trip. So I can get my body healthy and ready to receive when I get back.

Good luck everyone with your up coming BT's

My hopes for good numbers aren't very high. It was only pushed back to tomorrow because there were barely any follicles big enough for a collection today.

    So!
day 9, went for my scan and blood test today and nothing!! No follicles seen and really low oestrogen levels. I have to continue with my gonal f and orgalutran til Friday when they'll have another look at my scan. Feeling pretty despondent.

Good luck to all those in the tww, or those in the lead up. Fingers crossed for everyone. Smooth sailing is what we all wish for.

I'm a bit down today. My follicles seem to be growing well and bloods are alright but my lining is too thin. Has anyone experienced this? Have quickly googled it and saw some natural therapies that might help. Anyone heard of anything?
My FS is going to collect the eggs on Wednesday and hopefully transfer on Monday (provided the little eggs fertilize and grow).
But it's not looking positive for this cycle. And afterwards he wants do an operation to go and have a look. I feel crap...just adding another thing wrong to the list. Will be positive tomorrow, for tonight it's trigger and hugging my DF.

Good luck Sharon. How disheartening. I hope they come along in the coming days. xx

Becca85.... what day are you up to. Don't worry about your follicles being small. It just sounds like they need a couple more days to grow. Everyone's different.

Just sat and ate a piece of pineapple core!!! I'd read lots of things saying that eating pineapple core for the first three days after transfer helps, but to be honest, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong - it's as chewy as old boots (not that I've ever eaten old boots!!). Perhaps I wasn't meant to eat it, but rather just suck the juice out. Any suggestions???

Hey there - Becca and lotsathoughts ... that's such a crap feeling, been there a few times! But the girls are right, everyone is different and some of us just take longer to grow those little darlings! Both times I've managed to get to retrieval, its taken until day 15 ... Wishing you lots of luck!

MGC Bertie, I think a pineapple stem can be eaten because in lots of tropical/asian countries the stem is really soft and is served with the rest of the fruit. Maybe its just our mass produced chemically treated pineapple stems that are on the chewy side? But if it works - who cares right!
