    Hi All,

I am new to BH and would love to join your thread.

My husband and I will be starting our first IVF / ICSI cycle this month too - hoping to conceive our first bub. Just waiting on AF next Wednesday, so Tandi - it looks like we may be sharing a similar journey.

    Feeling very nervous!!!

Sootswife.... I've never heard of key-hole surgery for EPU. On my fourth cycle my left ovary was totally hiding at each of the scans, but they said it doesn't really matter as when you're under during EPU they can find it easily as they just follow the path :-))

AFM.... I had EPU on Wed, had 5 eggs collected of which 4 fertilised with the anonymous donor sperm. Today (Day 3) our 4 little embies are still alive and kicking - two are perfectly on track at 8 cells, one is OK at 6 cells, and one is being slow at 5 cells. All 4 were graded A, meaning that there's little fragmentation, so that's good news. We've had a couple get to day 3 before, but it's getting past to day 5 that is the problem, but the scientist said that seems to be many embryos problems. Anyhow, it's looking really good, and may even get a choice of which one to put in, so transfer is set for Monday morning. I think it will be a long 2 day wait til then :-))

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been here for a while I've been waiting for aunt flo who showed up yesterday after 45 day cycle!

I am doing a flare/boost cycle which I've never done before, this time I have to inject in the morning and night, gonal, syneral spray, antibiotics and steroids all before I leave the house, I'm going to have to set my alarm half an hour earler! Then a shot of menopur and another syneral at night.

Will check in here more often now that I have something to contribute finally. I'll have a proper read through today, but good luck to all those jabbing

    Em x
