    Default Tell me about Gladstone

    Hello!!

DH has just accepted a job in Gladstone. I have only been there briefly so don't know much about the place. Can anyone tell me where is a good place to live/places to avoid living, what it's like to live there and what sort of things there is for kids to do? Any information would be so helpful right now! I am so anxious about the move its making me feel sick! I'm a city girl so the thought of living in a town makes me nervous!

    TIA!

I'd suggest Boyne/tannum or calliope area. I loved it at Boyne but hated living in gladstone itself.

We've lived in Gladstone (Kin Kora) for about 7 months and I like living right in town and close to everything, I personally wouldn't want to live in the suburbs further away.
Sadly there isn't much for kids to do here (like no play centers, bowling, zoos) but there is the beach and there are lots of great parks and they are building a water play park thing beside the water which will be great for the kids in summer. I'm really enjoying living here
