I had a growth scan at 36wks with ds2 and he was measuring 7pd (3.3kg ish). They said he would be 9pd at 40wks. They were pretty accurate, he was 9pd9.5oz at 41+2.

My fundal height with both my boys was spot on or a week ahead and they both weighed over 9pd.

for both my kids my fundal measurements were spot on for the whole pregnancy.
I had a growth scan done at 38 weeks for my ds (second bub) as my fundal measurement jumped to 42cm. They estimated ds to weigh 8lb 2oz. He was born weighing 8lb 11oz. Those growth scans are pretty accurate!

Its normal for fundal measurements to match your gestation. If its + or - 1 or 2cms they are not going to say antthing to worry you as it's usually normal too! Bubs have growth spurts at the very end (the just keep putting on fat, thats it) and usually catch up in the very final weeks if they are 'behind'.
I only had a growth scan because i was attempting VBAC and they wanted to make sure he'd fit my tiny pelvis and because i was measuring normal all the way through my first pregnancy. So the jump in fundal was a bit out of norm for me.
