    Default Parenting Partnered payment debt

Hi every one. I'm new here so excuse the mistakes..
Last year I was on Parenting partnered payment and received a debt from them at 4000 (now closer to $3000 as I've been paying it off) stupid mistake made by me, my partner was doing a lot of over time and getting payed monthly so It was hard to know his fortnightly income.

The debt goes back 3 years (they must of reviewed my account)

I'm not on ppp any more so no chance of getting another debt this year.

question is, I was told that they will not take my supps because my debt is from ppp not family tax, is the right? Or will they take it?
I'm really not fussed if they take it (it will pay my debt of faster) but just wanted to know others experience.

Also can they take my partner tax?
    thanks for looking

They wont take your family suppliments as supps are for ftb not pp, they also wont touch your partners tax unless he has advised them to take it when doing his tax

I was overpaid last year and didn't get any supplement payment.

Actually I haven't gotten it a single year since my son was born so maybe that has nothing to do with it.

They shouldn't take your partner's tax though.

I thought the supp payments take care of any debt, parenting payment, ftb, rent assistance, etc.

I have a ppp debt as well and I fully expect the balance of this do be deducted from any supp payment I may be entitled to.

they will take the money if you have a debt with ftb but as you have said its with ppp they wont touch your supps as the supps are a ftb payment

Thanks, I do pay the debt off with my ftb though because I cancelled ppp after I received the debt (didn't want to risk another debt) do you think that will affect it.
As much as I'm not fussed if it goes off the debt, would be nice to get supps, have an eye op next month and its been a struggle saving for it.

yes you will def get your supps the only way you wont is if you have a debt with ftb payments it don't matter if your debt payment for ppp comes out of your ftb
