Is that the test where the see how many eggs are left Amy? If so my fs did this time to which we found out that I will go through early menopause. Luckily we started early so I have ages before it becomes an issue.

Well ladies I am losing the plot. I am starting to have issues putting AJ to sleep. My old routine of rock/pat/sing doesn't work for me anymore in that it makes me tired (all that rocking) and he's starting to fight it and I just can't cope with the screaming, especially when I feel so tired. So I'm trying to work on getting him to fall asleep in the cot with me sitting next to it rocking him while he's lying down. But he just screams and screams and I end up crying and with a god awful headache until I give in and bring him into bed with me and we both sleep. He also has nice long naps with me and far too short ones if he's in the cot. I'm at the point where it's making me really upset and angry and it's affecting my relationship with dh. God knows what it's doing to AJ, if he's picking up on my moods. Poor dh doesn't know how to help other than pick up the slack around the house and give me the opportunity to get out every now and again which i appreciate but it doesn't seem to make any difference. And then there is the stress of starting to wean which I've been putting off. Now dh is like maybe we shouldn't have another kid, he doesn't think I would cope. I feel awful and just don't know what to do. So any tips on settling would be much appreciated!

Oh Steph I'm so sorry your going through a tough patch. Maybe try working on the sleep thing when Dh is not home of you can handle it ( thats what i had to do cause dh coukdnt cope and made it worse ). Maybe leave the room and let him CIO but go in at growing periods to let him know your still there. Any friends that can help?

Sorry you are feeling so drained, do you think you would like to try CIO? When you start to lose the plot things really need to change. I'm happy to help you, it took about a week for us to be happy at sleep times.

Amy I had my amh checked last year and my FS never got back to me about it, so I'm assuming its ok. I'm 34 now, so I shouldn't leave it too long before ttc again but I'm not feeling clucky yet. Now I'm going to telephone and query the result.

Sorry you're having a hard time Steph, I hope little AJ gets used to his cot soon.... My only advice is don't leave it too long, the older they get the harder it gets to change habits XX

Sorry you're having a hard time steph.

Amy I had my AMH levels checked when I was 26 - just before round 1 of IVF and the specialist told me that I had a low reserve and that I should have all the children I want to have within the next 3 years!! Well I'm 29 in a few weeks so I'm hoping that what he said was false! This is the doc that we left after 3 rounds but if we don't conceive in the next few months I'll get it checked again

Sorry your finding it so tough Steph...maybe give the parent helpline in your state a call. I did that when I was teaching Ivy and they were very supportive and helpful at giving me advice and tips. He will get the but it will take a lot of persistence, however it's soooo worth it. I don't know how you feel about CIO but he is old enough now if you do want to do that.
