She is still so little Crafty so don't stress it at all. Ds1 didn't get into it about 5 months and never really liked the rice cereal at all. Think William is just a little guts lol.

I have been told the same Greb about nurofen it the anti inflammatory stuff in it.

Ladies it wasn't pretty! Ivy doesn't like sleeping on me anymore and the basinett was too small...not to mention the constant noise which woke her, people laughing, cabin bins banging, stupid flight attendants screaming out water....would you like water....omg it was the most awful experience and she was beside herself, she just wanted sleep! It turns out she got about 3 hours in the normal space that she gets 12....so that's a disaster!

She had 3 naps since we arrived, 2 x 40 min and 1 x 2 hour, I have now bathed her and put her to bed! It's only 4pm Adel time but it's 8 here and she is shattered! I have her in the bathroom as its dark in there and quiet.

I know this may sound silly but I feel such a selfish parent! I feel I shouldn't have brought her or come at all and j put her through hell....

Anyway here's hoping she might stay asleep, she has ready woken at the 30 min mark but grizzled herself back to sleep. Any noise we make is setting her off, I hope she finds her deep sleep soon! We just are not here long enough for her to adjust, after tonight only 5 more nights, I really should have thought this through a little better!!!

Crafty, Ellie is almost 7 months and is lucky to eat a spoonful of food. Then she throws it all back up. She will suck on a chunk of steak though.

Nic, that sucks. Hope it improves for you.

Oh Nic that's terrible. Try and enjoy it she won't remember it but you will so try and make the most of it. Might be the complete opposite on your way back.

Adden could you please pm me the tips you gave Nic, ESP how you found new York with a bub. It's my mum's 50th next year and she would like the three of us Togo there but I'm a bit hesitant so would love to hear how you went.

As for future kids, I am really set on the fact that I'm happy with just the one but my hubby would love another. Either way we probably won't look at starting again til late next year, we don't mind a bit of a gap in between and I want to spend as much one on one time with Zoe as I can. We have two frosties still so will probably try with those first given all we went through to get them. However we probably won't do another IVF cycle if those don't work and neither does trying naturally.

Those that have started solids has the bub taken to eating straight away? I've tried a few times and Zoe just pushes it out of her mouth so should I take that as a sign she isn't ready yet?
Crafty Orlando pretty much took to it straight away of course some is pushed out as they get used to it but once I push it back in it goes down the hatch. Perhaps your right and she's not ready yet...maybe try in another week or few days?

Well it turns out Ziva wasn't pregnant and obviously that means she wasn't in labour! I was checking her all through the night and she seemed to be getting worse. My hubby went off to work this morning and then left mid morning so that he could come home and take my poor girl to the vet earlier in the day. I noticed there was blood on the floor of the kennel so immediately thought she had miscarried at least one pup as I was convinced she was in labour. Turns out that the poor thing had this thing called pyrometra which is a life threatening disease / infection. She had to have emergency surgery and they removed this huge sausage like cyst (sorry tmi) which was filled with poison. The vet said that it would have burst given it another 12 hours and she would have died for sure! They tied her tubes too and we decided to take our male dog Gibbs in to have him fixed tomorrow so they are both recovering from surgery at the same time. No staffy pups for us thank god really that would have been a nightmare! Cute - but a nightmare lol!!

Anyway sorry for the essay just been a crazy day! Ziva is still on fluids and sounds like she is very weak but is improving so fingers crossed she makes it through the night!!
