Don't stress to much Nic one quality that goes hand in hand with motherhood is the amazing ability to improvise.

I started 1 feed a day first week two feed the second and 3 from the third. 1 teaspoon or so first feed and just built it up as he was happy eating it. Just had baby rice with bm first couple of days then added mashed sweet potato for a couple days then tried new things every 2 days. Now he eats anything.

Oh my gosh I can't even imagine how I'm going to close a suitcase when we go on holiday with bubs! Good luck!

I got DH to buy me a book called Food Babies Love and its got great advice.

Yep so I started on Wednesday...using Bellamys Organic Baby Rice mixed with breastmilk (I didn't heat it up or anything) to the consistency of pouring cream (also mine was prob a bit thicker). Wednesday was one teaspoon, Thursday two, Friday three, today four. It says that once he eats a tablespoon (4 teaspoons) he can go to a second meal of 2 teaspoons at night. Didn't give him the extra meal today but will tomorrow and then on Sunday we'll start on carrot. If I can take a pic of the guide I'll post it.

    Have an amazing trip

Eliana is almost 7 months and lucky to get through 1 teaspoon of rice cereal. She will eat maybe a piece of a vegetable if she's feeding herself, finger pieces, and suck on some meat. We are having gag reflex issues and tummy issues though.
