    Yep.. 60 mins was horrible!!!

Nic.. Have everything crossed for you that she settles quick!!
    Welcome home!!

DH is going to America in 4 weeks. I'm scared to be on my own for 2.5 weeks! Any FIFO girls that can give me advice? Dreading nights most.
Not much family help, so it's me and my 2 kids on our own!!!

I'm a FIFO mum but with only 1 and DH is only away a week at a time so about 1000 times easier....

1 thing that I started, even though DS is too young to know is I put the number of sleeps on our blackboard & cross one off every morning with DS... I'm going to try & keep that up as he grows... Maybe you & your DS could make a chart together & cross off every morning :-)

The other thing plan outings, I find when DH is away I need to get out of the house at least every 3rd day or it's too much... Even if its a trip to the shop!

Good luck with it all the time will fly by!

I am now home and working on my poor bubs severe over tiredness! She is exhausted and beside herself! On average has had 10 hours sleep in total a day for past week...not good!

I am going to get her outside etc to try and overcome the jet lag but any tips for working off sleep debt? I read earlier bedtime....so I might try that tomorrow, put her down at 6 I reckon!!
It must be nice to be back at home with familiar surroundings. Good luck on the sleep catch up. I have no tips only to say that it shouldn't be a matter of needing to catch up on sleep just try Nd get her back in the normal routine and once she has a couple of 'normal' nights she should be fine.

I hope you're not feeling too stressed out and that you managed to have some fun in Hawaii at least?

    Good luck!

Yes but it showed real footage of 2 ladies trying to smother their babies. Really upset and sickened me and from the 60min FB page outraged hundreds of others too. So lucky you missed it. Wish I could unsee it

Night 1 almost over...she went to bed at 715 (after 20 mins of screaming) woke at 1230 for a feed, then at 5 for a feed...then woke completely at 6....I let her cry for 15 mins, it wasn't hard crying more grizzle/cry with breaks and she went back to sleep! Lets hope she stays asleep a bit longer as I know she is tired!

Adden the royal Hawaiian was great, ESP our view, I have attached a pic of me and DH on our balcony ready to the gala dinner, it was fancy dress..ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1373837778.850293.jpg
