I like this overestimating thing. This financial year I'll actually have to deal with c/l. Is it best if I overestimate DPs income then to ensure we don't have to pay anything at the end of it?

Yep. You're always better to over estimate than under.

We overestimate both. We calculate it just before financial year and figure out how much we can overestimate while still having a payment coming in so we are in the sysystem. Usually we overestimate by about 10k. We then get between 2k-and 6k back at tax time.

I overestimated dfs income by 10k so I'm hoping to get a pretty penny.

Sooo frustrated. Turns out I have overestimated our income by $23000 this year. Have already received our NOA from ato but center link still haven't received any info from the ato so won't tell me how much we can expect. I went online to try and figure it out and was given different figures ranging from $300 to $6000. Uggghh I am not a patient person lol
