Pretty sure now don't take this as 100% accurate and I think it'll all depends what entitlements you get.

As far as I was aware at the beginning of the new financial year payments go out such as a payment per child and a payment for families aswell as any pay adjustments for example you Did your tax and they adjust it to hey your rate actually should've been such and such you get what they "owe you" so could be one of those things.

Lol errrrrr tbh I have no clue.
I get the teensiest tiniest amount of FTB now DH is in his current job.

But last financial year I was on full rate FTB aswell as rent assistance and got a payment for each child and $300 (a something) family payment aswell as some adjusted back pay. I think it depends what entitlement your on but could be Wrong but that's what I got last year.

I hope my vague answers help a little bit

It could be the carers bonus payment, some get 1000 and some get 600 dependant on your payment and rate.

I know there is the low income supplement then s payment you get for your child each year but I think that depends on your income for the year. But yes u do get a payment for just having a child

    I don't think it's a bonus for carers. It's more than that.
I wouldn't be a low income one. .. must just be financial year thing for having a child. Yay.

They must have finalised everything for the eofy, and you must have over estimated your income

I would say definitely not a mistake.
