When I fell pregnant I was smoking a pack a day and drinking a bottle (ok 2) of wine a night.

If I could do it again I would've definitely stopped BEFORE I fell pregnant.

I also would've eaten a lot more healthily. I was existing on coffee, cigarettes and chocolate, I would like to have been getting the proper nutrition from the start!

Pap smear, prenatal blood test, stay active, eat healthy non processed food, drink lots of water, cut back on alcohol/smoking and start on a good multivitamin or prenatal vitamin OH and don't over think it, just relax and go with it!

    - stop smoking if you do
    - keep drinking to a minimum
    - eat healthy
    - drink plenty of water
    - start exercising if you don't already... A walk everyday will be helpful for labour
    - some people recommend to start taking pregnancy vitamins while they are ttc... But that's up to you ..

We were ttc for 3 years. I finally fell pregnant after a month of giving up sugar and artificial sweeteners and also cutting back alcohol! I am almost certain that these changes helped me.
