    Default Family tax benefit reduction

So I've logged into my online service & my next families payment has a rate reduction I'm not sure why ? Does anyone else have this ?
Edit. I found this but doesn't explain much http://www.humanservices.gov.au/cust...get-a-new-look

Yes it's their new way of displaying the payment information. Basically it goes on what your maximum entitlement is and the reduction is what is taken away using your income estimate. I hope that makes sense.

Ok kinda makes sense but makes things bit more confusing though. My rate of payment hasn't changed from normal just this added in deduction

Yeah before you couldn't see what your full entitlement would be if you didn't have the income you'd reported. Don't quite understand why they've changed it but oh we'll. There will be a nice little jump in ftb in August

Sounds like before we were seeing the "net amount", now we're seeing the calculations which results in the "net amount".

What I am getting for the next few weeks is significantly lower than what they said ill get in August. When I did an estimate of this next financial year it gave me the amount ill be getting in August. But maybe it has to do with my circumstances

I saw the 'deduction' as well. I show to admit I'm still a bit stumped

My actual net FTB amount hasn't changed from prior payments though so I'll just keep plodding along

Same here just a bit confusing. Why can't it just stay the same as it was without changing stuff & making it confusing
