I chose my colours first. Then i chose my prints because id followed the FB page for years and was waiting to have a daughter so i could actually get some! Thankfully they had some where the colours matched. Then i picked up bits a pieces a long the way. Teapot and tea cup from a second hand shop. Decals that appealed to me etc. i got the quilt made custom in the colours i wanted

I tried to stay away from a particular theme that was really specific because i find it too stressful to find lots of things to fit a theme that match somewhat.

I just wanted girly. Florals tulle pom poms tea sets, birdys etc.

I started with my colours (pink, white and grey) then did a google search for "pink white and grey nursery". I found this one and kind of used it as my inspiration..

I also wanted to use "Me To You" bears so my mum painted the bear picture for the wall. We did the curtains and wardrobe in the alcove first, then the drawers, then the chair (which is amazingly comfortable) and finally the cot.

I knew we were going to have a rainbow nursery, so I googled for ideas - most are quite pastel and we wanted bright (cot being the exception). Then I found the rug on special and worked everything around that
