Default Baby drinking a lot more when sick??

My formula fed 6 month old boy has drunk 2 extra bottles today.... He has a cold and just had needles. Is it normal for him to drink more coz he is a bit sick?????

I always find with my little one she would always drink more bottles and less food when she had a cold. Could be a little growth spurt as well??.

My DD does this too when she's sick. I think it is their 'comfort food' like we turn to soup etc

She also has some times where she just drinks more! Mostly I find it comes with a growth spurt.
