Default Facing two in a row - probable blighted ovum

I miscarried in November last year and it took us 6 months to conceive again, everything seemed to be going so well, symptoms all on track and no bleeding this time.

Went for scan at 6+1 and only an empty sac seen, thought maybe dates were out or just slow starting. Waited 2 weeks and went back yesterday at 8+1 and although sac has grown it is still empty. So devastated, really hoped that this one would be ok. Still have no miscarriage symptoms.

Had bloods taken yesterday and will again on Monday as they won't confirm a blighted ovum without the hcg results. So scared of having to go through another miscarriage.

Any support or advice would be appreciated as I am really struggling especially since my due date for the last miscarriage is this week.

    Hi Meeksie80

I am so sorry for your loss it is truly horrible going through all that to not get the results you so deeply want.
You are not alone at all I have had 3mc so far the last one only 4 weeks ago so I know how your feeling, and going to that scan to only be faced with devastating is one of life's cruelest things for a women to have to go through.

I don't have much advice but here if you need to talk.

I got my diagnosis confirmed today, definitely a blighted ovum. Going to wait it out for another week and a half until I get to 10 weeks and then will opt for a d&c if I haven't miscarried naturally by then.
