Hi Ladies, How is everyone? It's been a while since this thread was active so I thought I would let you all know how I'm going. I was doing ok, I have been enjoying quality time with my son and getting used to the idea that he will be starting school next year, and then I don't know what exactly happened but I was hit with that sense of loss and sadness again that I can't have another child. I was preparing some of his baby things to sell, he is 5 now but when it came to it I still couldn't do it. I am feeling that huge depth of sadness again that I thought had passed and I just want to cry all the time. I just needed to share that somewhere. I guess the moderators do not feel that there is a need for a space for people who have secondary infertility as I haven't seen a new section or heard anything about it. Anyway, love and baby dust to all, hope things are more positive for all of you. Little Feet x

Little Feet I am sorry to hear about your day. I hope your ok.

AFM....... Well I am 8 weeks pregnant today. Due to acupuncture (at least I think) I have mixed emotions but think I am being overly cautious so I don't get hurt again.

I think of all you ladies regularly and wish you all the best with what ever the future may bring.

    Little Feet,

Hope you are feeling better and a good cry does help. I think our situation isn't given the same sympathy as childless as "we atleast have one" and of course I am totally grateful for that but when I see my son playing in the park on his own trying play with other children who are with siblings breaks my heart.

Congratulations Siesmum hope you have a healthy complication free pregnancy. Can I ask how long had acupuncture before you fell pregnant I have tried it a 3 times and not good at taking the herbs!

Siesmum, I'm sorry you are feeling down. I have been there many times.

I am going ok! 9 weeks pregnant today. And boy have I been feeling it.
I have been so damn nauseas. It is debilitating.
I finally bit the bullet and took a zofran wafer today and I feel so much better! Just so tired. I have been struggling to get any decent sleep.

We had a scan a little over a week ago now and saw the heartbeat so that was a relief.

Now just to get through the next 31 weeks!!!

I'm sorry. The above sounds so ungreatful!
I am in awe of this baby. But still feel like crap!

Salma- it actually worked my first go. I saw her on day 4 of my cycle and did so many tests with a BFN but then started getting sick and got a BFP, I must have ovulated late and just by chance it worked.

It is a shame others don't think secondary infertility is as important. We are still grieving for the type of family we may never have.
