I asked a similar question yesterday. But didnt get any answers

I ended up lay buying the leap pad 2 from target, they have a bundle offer (the leap pad, app card, cover and wall charger for $179) then priced matched the a case in target (advertised in bigw for $16 and target was $23)

Dd is 19mo, but will get it for Xmas, so will be 2 when she's using it

We have the explorer 2 for ds who is 4 in a couole of months. He loves the drawing app and photos as well as nemo. He will get some apps for his birthday, I like how they are fun and educational.

I should add we also bought the case and wall charger along with rechargeable batteries so no extra costs.

We got the vtech innotab. Same idea but come s with 15 odd free apps and as it has an sd slot you can put your own movies and music on it. Dd has used it continuously from 2.5 yrs as 'her computer'.

We got the leap pad 2 and Dd loves it. I suggest doing a few YouTube compare videos to decide which is best for you.

I got a leap pad for DD for her 5th birthday but the games are such a rip-off! Any decent games are like $40! I am going to sell it and get a tablet for her .There are apps out there just as decent as the leap pad games. If your still keen let PM me. It's less then three months old.
