Think I should finally step over to this thread and join you!

Meadow is two weeks old tomorrow and doing really well. She's put on so much weight since birth and I feel really proud that my milk has done so well for her. My nipples are sore but its manageable.

She's still quite a settled baby and will sleep in her hammock for 3-4 hour stretches at night. Which i think is fantastic after how unsettled Toby was at this age! I do co-sleep a bit when necessary but only when she won't let me put her down as find it uncomfortable.

Looking forward to baby chat with you all!

Sage, that's great that Tate is going well. It's a bit sad how quick they grow out of their clothes. I want my girl to stay small for a while

Sage- I am fully recovered now thanks. Would have been a lot quicker if it were not for the bad tear which meant I felt off for about a week. Still much better and quicker than when I had a c section though, and I can drive this time! I hope you're able to get your VBAC next time too!

Re. growing out of clothes- Meadow's feet are at the end of 0000 already although there is room in the body. I'll be cutting the feet off her onesies and hemming them I think!

Smurfy- think it was me who you told you about Next Direct as its a UK store. Their stuff is lovely, I'll be shopping there when I am at home in a couple weeks. Sienna looks so cute in her outfit!

I managed to dust and vacuum today, big achievement! It seems Meadow likes the white noise of the vacuum. Bonus! Got a call from the mach nurse today so she'll be doing her initial home visit tomorrow morning. But gotta get all the six week vaccinations and check ups done while we're in the UK.

    My darling girl...

Flight home from QLD was a nightmare...Oscar was a disaster. He learnt how to undo his seatbelt, and kept trying to escape up the aisle. Bit hard to chase him with Lucy on my knee! Eventually some lovely man gave Oscar his iPad to watch cartoons, bless him!

Lucy has really awful nappy rash at the moment, and I have no idea why. I have been coating her bum with zinc oxide cream, but it still looks awful. My diet has not changed, same wipes/nappies etc. Perplexed.

Hugs to all. Keep photos coming everyone!

    J xx.

Sorry the flight home was a disaster J. I'm anxious about flying with River and DP as I end up with all the bags because he can't carry them with the wheelchair. Lucy is so cute under her play mat.
