Choccie awesome news. Glad it's working. Ds gets heaps of wind and it disturbs his sleep. It's really frustrating.
How's mcn going? Any hints for nappy rash? Ds has had it since he was in disposables and every time I get rid of it he gets it again. We are using dermeeze and liners.

    Nila twins are gorgeous.
    J Lucy is so cute,
    Maybe how's feeding going
Toni - love the photos of river.

Lil petal did you sort feeding lying down?

When do people head back to work? Feels like ages away but Little man is already almost 2 months old and I have been on mat leave 3 months.

Okay hope you are all well

    :-)

Sage wind is terrible in babies. I'm not great at determining if wind is the problem. My sister has given me infants friend to help. I hope Tate gets some relief from nappy rash soon. Can't offer any advice as I have no idea. We were told to use sudocream if Ava gets nappy rash.

Feeding is up and down. I'm persisting with it but all I feel like I do is feed her! I've started expressing after feeding and only get 20mls each time. I have 60mls sitting in the fridge now. Not sure how much I will need to try her for a feed later with ebm. Any ideas? I was thinking I might start a new bottle of ebm and if she needs more than 60ml I can use the new batch... If that makes sense?? Also do you give ebm at room temp, straight from fridge or heated? Sorry as you can tell I'm a complete novice and have no clues what I'm doing.

Quick one. Does anyone know if you can take berroca while bf? I suffer from headaches due to lack of sleep and am looking for a pick me up.

Sage - mcn are good for us and we haven't had a nappy rash yet!! I use the moogoo organic nappy rash cream which is also ok to use with mcn's.

Maybee - if u are having trouble deciding on wind cries I really would recommend u watch the dunstan baby on utube!

In the evenings we were thinking axle cracks it after his bath cause he is so tired where now I realized last night he had a build up of lower wind and I spent 30 mins before his feed getting up another 3 burps and then he literally went floppy an relaxed! I was like wow! All this time we thought he was tired! Poor bubba! Apparently by 12 weeks they start to sort their wind out properly so in hoping this is the case, we always new he was a windy baby but had no idea how built up it was, hopefully over the next few days I will really be able to listen to his cries and get the wind out!

I now use Iberogast as the infants friend and infacol aren't strong enough! This is also natural and seems to work quite well... Check with the pharmacist

    Hi ladies, quick check in

Things have been a little hectic and I go back to work in 3 weeks. Not looking forward to leaving my bub all day, but I don't really have a choice in the matter. Flynn had his first taste of solids today () pears and apricot with a bit of baby cereal.
Baby led weening sounds great and we'll give that a go later on but for now he's having just a half a tablespoon of food at a time. It's mostly just to move it around his mouth and get used to the idea of something that has a little texture. Litte bump loved it .

I went to the doctors early this week because I've had a sore throat for going on 3 months now. He mentioned that he suspected a thyroid problem as I've had no other symptoms apart from a bruised feeling throat and there's no indication that I've had reflux at night... Mostly because I'm awake with bub all night so I'd know *chuckle*.
I also have to go and have a LETZ procedure done, my post-birth smear showed up high grade abnormal cells so that's going to be fun. Not. Heh. My sister has been the one to be sick and have health troubles all through her life and it's unusual for me to ever be unwell so most of this has come out of the blue. Bit unexpected but not much I can do about it apart from take it as it comes.

Hope you're all doing well! I do follow along where I can but the boys keep me so busy at the moment that I'm WAY behind in personals lol.

Choccie I have that DVD and watched it when I was pregnant. From memory the wind cries were Eh eh sounding... I might have to watch it again to familiarise myself with it.

Sorry Sage forgot to answer re going back to work. Was hoping to have full 12mths off but unfortunately I think I'll be going back sooner, maybe 7-8mths 😞 DH suggested we start looking into putting our name down for child care soon as he's been told it can be hard to get in to some places. I wanted to punch him. My little baby is just over 2 weeks old, I'm not ready to think about that now!!
