In terms of contraception we were thinking vasectomy as well but now I don't know if I wouldn't want to have more in a few years cause I also have to think I am only 27 but I have 4 kids already do I really want more... I don't want to go on any sort of pills or anything as it just screws up my body and I don't like it

Ahhh contraception is a tricky one. We have no idea. I wish I knew if I would be a lucky one and could rely on breastfeeding. I would like a bit of a break between bubs to Recover from c section, that was my obs advice
As well. I am not reliable Enough for mini pill so our option is condoms at this stage.

    So tired will
Try to catch up more later

Happy 4 weeks Toni and River! I have to say I'm extremely jealous of your sleep last night! I had 2 hours usually gripe water works wonders with his wind but nothing helped last night.
I'm not sure what ill do about contraception yet either. Hormonal contraceptives make me depressed and I also don't want to risk my endometriosis coming back. I'm also exclusively breast feeding so I'm not sure what I can be on.
FTM I'm also trying to lose weight and struggling! I'm finding it so hard to kick my pregnancy diet which consisted of heaps of chocolate lol

Thanks FelH happy 4 weeks to you too.
Sorry about your lack of sleep, wind is the worst. River gets herself so worked up when she has wind.

Happy 4 weeks to fel and Toni!
Toni I am also very jealous of your sleep last night I got probably about 4 hours as the babies still have 3 hour feeds and it takes me about an hour to feed them then 30 min to express plus Tyler was really unsettled he gets so gassy at night

I had a crappy night too. Up at 2.15am, bed by 3.15am, then up again by 5.15am, in bed by 6am...but had to get up at 7am to get organised for a conference call at 9am (had to get Oscar to creche before then, and feed Lucy again so I could get through the call without disruption).
Toni...River is a true legend; I, too, am envious!
Lucy had her 6-week Paed check yesterday. She is officially "too healthy" for further review. She has only gained 200g since her birth-weight (making her 4.93 kg now), but she is seemingly content, so Paed not worried. And neither am I.
How are we all doing today? I have my 6-week OBGYN check tomorrow.
    J x.

On the topic of contraception... We don't plan on having more kids but not sure what I will do. Was thinking of maybe just going on the mini pill while I am breastfeeding then I will decide after that.

Sorry you had a rough night J. Eliana is still Waking just once every night. She generally goes down at 8pm then wakes for a feed at about 2am then wakes again shortly after 6am.

I am starting I get the hang of juggling a newborn and a toddler. I am finding myself enjoying the newborn stage with Eliana much more than I did with DD1. I just feel more relaxed. She has a bedtime routine but apart from that I just take it how it comes which is making it more enjoyable. I am scared she will start waking more during the night though.
