Can you express when Atticus does that Swizzly? It stores in fridge for 3 weeks and will help with the sore feeling.

Te lactation consultant didn't recommend it as she thinks I will just make more and it will be harder for him to attach. I think once I am home I will express and put some in the freezer, it will be handy to have there.

So can I ask who else was adamant they wouldn't get the baby blues and then had a massive crash?

Swizzle I was told to just hand express the top off if that happens into a towel just offers some relief.
Hope the baby blues disappear soon!

Fair enough swizzly. I wish I was producing enough. Lactation consultant has given us some tasks to encourage River to open her mouth and put her tongue down.

Wide awake ffs! And it's only 1pm!!!
    God I hate reflux!!!
He is on reflux formula already, I've tried infacol, infants friend and iberogast and nothin seems to be helping over the last few days... We are off to the docs tonight!

Choccie that sounds so hard for you, I can't imagine watching and not being able to do anything to help him. I hope the doc can give you some help with it and bubs starts to be able to settle/feed better.

Well we are on day 4 so Atticus had a check over. His weight has dropped to 2.28kgs but he is still ok, they really don't want it to drop anymore though just because there isn't much more left of him, lol. He is a little jaundice but otherwise he seems to be coming along well The paed has asked us to stay another 2 days just to make sure his weight starts to come back up but then we should be home.
