No worries J, will always answer honestly. If it was something I didn't want to answer I would say that but im not ashamed of him.

I hope Lucy settled for you and you got your paperwork done. River is having a shocking night.

J I do hope Lucy is more settled today

My little girl is really unsettled and has been for the past 3 days she only goes down for 30min and only falls asleep while cuddling, luckily Tyler has been a bit better but funny as I say that he started to scream haha I think I may have just jinxed myself

Ava was weighed today and has gained 372g in just over a week. She has also grown 3cm in 2 weeks. Hard to believe she is already 2 weeks old!!! Seems she is having periods of cluster feeding and is always wanting to feed. DH is on night shift tonight... I'm on my own from now until about 9am. Hope Ava is a good little girl for Mummy

Maybe i do hope Ava is good for you!! And I what you mean by time flying the twins are 3 weeks today and I'm only now learning to tell them apart when they cry so hard telling them apart but Abby's cry is a bit more high pitched
She is still unsettled but she's not hungry just gassy so I'm considering changing formulas and seeing if that works

Toni I had no idea about DH. He sounds like a trooper and so do you! Gorgeous photo of River with her daddy

Nila sorry to hear your little girl is unsettled
I still think you're a freaking legend to be handling twins and your 2 other children

Maybee I hope Ava is a perfect little angel for her mummy tonight. Great job on the weight gain!

V is still sleeping fairly well thank goodness. I've started a new diet and exercise regime today and I'm already pooped! After next to no exercise in close to a year, every part of me aches!

Thanks ladies, I think the photos are gorgeous.

FTM I am always amazed at what my DP can do and it makes you appreciate everything a little more. He was born that way so nothing slows him down. I'm not surprised you didn't know, unless someone asks or its relevant to a conversation I don't tend to mention it as its irrelevant to us

I'm glad V is sleeping well. Way to go getting in to the exercise. Hope you enjoy it

Nila I hope your little girl settles soon, no good that she is gassy. Still don't know how you are managing twins, you are amazing.

Maybee I hope that Ava settles for you and you have a good evening.

I have a question thats probably down to personal preference, some of the ladies in my DIG have had their 6w checks and have reported that part of it is discussing contraception. What is everyones opinions? We want to have another bub and will probably try fairly quickly, partly due to DP's age especially considering his mobility. I don't want to go on any contraception. Obviously there are still condoms but am I insane to rely on something that is not 100% I had trouble getting pregnant this time so not thinking that I would get pregnant accidentally.

Re contraception I'm not sure what we'll do. I have endometriosis and took awhile to fall pregnant. I needed clomid to make me ovulate. I don't like the thought of filling my body with artificial hormones so I'm not keen to go back on the pill. We're not fans of condoms either so it's something we'll have to think about.

As for your situation, it really is personal preference. There is a risk with all contraception methods... Nothing is full proof is it?

My sister had her first baby in September, and is now 28 weeks pregnant again. Like you, she did not want to wait. So there will be 12 months between babies. But she did not breast-feed at all, so her periods returned quickly. She is nearly 37.
If you and hubby want another baby, then I say go for it. If you are feeding, then it is less likely that you will conceive, but certainly not impossible.
What is your gut feeling? Do you want to go for it, or wait?
Hubby and I are too tired to have sex, so not an issue just yet. But I think he is thinking vasectomy, as I cannot go on Pill whilst feeding (there is mini-Pill, but less reliable).
    J xx.

Maybee I was on serophene tablets and the ovidril injection as I don't ovulate so don't want to put chemicals in either.

J we are thinking we will just take our chances, I'm expressing so shouldnt get periods back for a while. I'd like to be pregnant again early next year so don't want to do any of the pills.
