The difference being that you are open to learning and reading more, whereas KG said that she doesn't need to learn anything else because she has made up her mind.

Nothing would ever change my mind on being pro choice either, but it doesn't stop me reading what others have to say and trying to understand their POV.

I don't think anything would ever change me being pro vax - but if evidence were to come to light that it was actually more harm than good - then of course, I would take that on board.

I don't think I just know it all, therefore I will close myself off and never listen, read or debate ever again. You know? I suspect you are the same Lamby.

Maybe I'm not approaching this in the right way?

I also think that even though there are some things I would never change my view on it is good to read/hear about other peoples different points of view as it gives you a better understanding which it turn opens your mind (and sometimes your heart!) as to why people do/think the way they do
This was the post I was trying to write for myself but EM said it better.

I feel more compassionate and understanding in general since joining BH plus I really do learn something new everyday and have received some top notch advice.

Thinking about it, there are certain views I have that probably wouldn't change either. My political persuasion would never change, nor my thoughts on feminism, or gay marriage. So yeah.... I do see your point too

    I certainly have.

The when I had DS1 I was encouraged to CC or CIO. I didnt know any better and tried it, despite it feeling awful and wrong. Since joining a few forums and reading more and hearing others views on it... I am now very anti CC and CIO for my children, its not something I would ever consider again.

I will admit, I am a very stubborn person though, so it takes a hell of a lot to change my mind on something...
