    Default Mamma is on strike!!

Every night I make at least 2 different meals because my 6yr old refuses to eat anything except steamed broccoli, sausages and plain pasta. My Mum does dido work so she stays with us 2 weeks out of the month and when she is here she only has steamed veg so that means 3 meals. Well me being a sucker for punishment agreed to make DD mashed potatoes for dinner one night (4 meals) then when we sat down for dinner she complained! Last night tried something new and again there was complaints this time because I used lite sour cream. They complain if clothes aren't washed and folded the minute they need it or if their hair isn't done the way they want it! I get eyes rolled at me if I ask them to do anything and they think it is their right to take whatever is mine without asking. I know I have let it get this way by not saying no but damn it I have had enough so last night I told them all other then the baby the only person I will be cooking for, cleaning up after, washing clothes for and looking after is me because I am on STRIKE!!

Today was day 1 they made their own breakfast and washed their own clothes so at the moment it hasn't all come crashing down around them I think that will happen when the novelty wears off. For me it has been fantastic I actually had time to try my new Wen shampoo properly and give myself a little pampering

Keep it up! You're not their slave Loodle! I did my 'nana on the weekend and threw a whole heap of SSs toys and crap out because he is too lazy to pick up after himself

Day 2; Once again they have made their own breakfast and have put their washing on. They have already decided that they would cook hotdogs for dinner, I feel like ending the stroke just so they eat a little healthier. I have decided to be a little cruel and make myself a mouthwatering meal
