Default Safe n Sound Meridian or Maxi Cosi Hera?

I would love some real life experiences for these two carseats. The hera i cheaper which is a bog bonus for us, but I love how the meridian can recline when the child is sleeping somyheir head doesnt fall forward. Does anyone hbe any problems with their little ones head falling forward in the Hera? Tia

Love our meridian it has higher rear facing markers! But the recline when FF is important in my opinion.

    Love our Meridians too.

Although be aware, it isn't an easily adjustable recline that you can just do when bub falls asleep (like I thought). You just have the option when installing to recline it more - which is still great.

Thanks for the info I thought the meridians reclined with a handle thing that you could reach from the front once the kids were asleep. Think I must have the wrong info there. The Hera also has base recline so now I'm more confused than ever!

You recline the seat and then install it, that's standard with all seats I think! A reclined seat is better anyways How old is baby going into the seat? The Maxi Cosi has okay RF height markers, but not as high as the Meridian.

Thanks callmedragon22. She will be about 6/7 months. When her shoulders reach the top height marker in her capsule. Thanks for that info. I wouldn't have thought of comparing the height markers

Some of the safe and sounds do recline with a handle that you can use after they are installed so you certainly didn't imagine it. Not sure what models though.
