First time posting, Klong - sorry to hear of your result today. I also had that same result at the same clinic today. 2 FET cycles in a row same result, HCG 9 at first Beta. Response "you have the pregnancy hormone but likely not to result in BFP." Keep taking progesterone and return for more bloods but don't expect too much. Suggestion is to then contact on Day 1 for next cycle. There is no condolences or sympathy or words of support, just straight to the next cycle. I would appreciate being contacted by my specialist as a courteous follow up, maybe even to say " the same thing has happened 2x, maybe we should reassess".

I understand exactly where you are, right at this time. x

Sharlee32 - You never have to apologise to anyone on here for feeling down. We totally understand where you are coming from and if you need to rant then go ahead. You should stick to your guns and make sure the clinic do not push you around and make you do anything you don't feel happy with. You are paying them a lot of money so you have every right to be listened to. to you and I really hope we both get our BFP's on our August cycles. I will be joining you for sure that month. Use this time now to relax, smile, laugh until you cry and be silly. It's so easy to let this crazy stupid crap get us down so we forget to do these simple little things. I was unhappy for so long I forgot how to be happy. I always thought what's the point because nothing good ever happens. I hope you're going to be ok. Come and rant here whenever you need to, it really helps!

Hoping2 - So sorry you got the same crappy result today. I may have seen you there if you were there having bloods this morning. It really felt like there was no sympathy just an attitude of "start again next month". I really don't know how much money they think we have. I know I don't have $2,000 a month to spend on treatment after treatment. Even when our first embie didn't thaw they were so blasé about it. We were told our embies were all grade A yet the FET where we had our daughter was a grade B embie so even the FS didn't know why they had used that embie before the A grade ones. I'm glad they did because it ended in a baby for us but made me wonder why they made that decision. Oh well, we have to put our trust in them so I just hope we get some better news next time. When are you planning to give it another go? We're waiting until August because I need a months break from injections and sticking pessaries up my bum!!!

    Hi ladies,

Congratulations to all the BFP's it's so wonderful to hear this good news from all of you (gives me a little hope) an reminds me of the feeling I got with DS1. I hope you all have smooth sailing pregnancies from here after all you are entitled to something being breezy for once lol so fingers crossed.

To everyone who has had a BFN. The only way I can describe the feeling is that it f'ing sucks! (excuse the language).
I think I have learnt my lesson now to not use HPT's because that indeed gave me false hope. All my tests were positive but I had a feeling something wasn't right because they were so light.

Nattie, I believe you warned me about this and although I did believe you, I wished it wasnt the case with me but alas, it was.

I am so very grateful for my precious son and really feel selfish for being do devastated for wanting more. If its meant to be I would just like to fight for at least one more so that DS can have a sibling and someone to play with etc.

The biggest thing that has been getting me down is the fact of having to go through a full cycle with the addition of metformin for a month or two before hand so that I can hopefully produce good quality eggs. It makes me sick to my stomach, but I know it's what we have to do to gain another precious little life.

I wish you all, all the baby dust in the world! It's so unfair that we have to go through this, but I reckon we were the 'chosen' ones because we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for.

Stay strong and I'll still be stalking

Mrs Carlton , WARNING TMI Coming ahead...... if you have an orgasm the contractions can cause you to lose the embie. I would wait the 2 weeks. I got told to have sex the night before the embryo transfer as it has being known to help the embryo attach.

Klong and Hoping 2 my clinic was the same the nurse who told me had no emphathy, she couldn't have cared less. They havent mentioned the next cycle to me yet I had to ask and they told me I had to wait for AF well AF is here now so I plan on calling them today and telling them that I want a cycle now not next month or when it suits them. Yes Klong I will hopefully see you in August for the next transfer.

Nicole I am so sorry the waiting is the hardest part but you can bleed and still get a BFP just maintian realistic expectations It's hard to when you want something to work so badly but if it isn't meant to be than unfortunately there is nothing we can do to..I really wish there was

Good Luck ladies in the 2ww there is so many of you now

Klong - next time for us? Not sure, don't think I can, $$, too tired and too sad. Feel very empty today, will take a while to move on I think, I'm sure the same for others when it comes the time to decide to stop IVF.

I agree Maria, its sad to hear of ladies that are not only having the stresses of IVF but have to deal with inconsiderate unfeeling teams as well! Im with MelbIVF and to be honest all the nursing staff have been amazingly supportive its my FS that im not happy with...talk about putting on a pleasant act to seal the deal then making you feel like just another number after! grrrr! seriously considering an enquiry to change FS!

    Hi Ladies,

I had a major melt down last night, crying yelling the whole thing. So today my DH rang the nurse to check on my symptoms as that crinone is evil and as I thought well its not worked so why keep doing this morning and night.
They rang him back quite promptly, as we don't often call for anything.
My two nurses are pretty good, but sometimes this whole process is so hurtful people who we being paid too look after us need to remember how often very fragile the emotions of their paitents are.

Big hugs to those who have not had a good outcome.
Sometimes things are so overwhelminng sad and all hope appears to be lost.
