Milly - how did transfer go?

We had our transfer today. Of the 4 embryos that were on track on Monday we only had 1 that looked really good, so I now have that one on board! They said its the perfect textbook embryo and it started hatching at 10am today which the Dr and scientist seemed excited about - apparently its a good sign, yay!

They are going to give the other 3 another day and have also kept 2 more that had already fallen behind just in case, but at this stage it looks unlikely we'll get to freeze any. Hopefully it won't matter but I would have liked to have a spare or two.
Hi Cue - That's great news about having a hatching blasty on board!! My fingers are crossed it makes itself at home and continues to grow well. My transfer went well thanks. A day 5 blasty, I can hardly believe it! They froze one today and are growing out a couple more to see whether they are ok to freeze tomorrow. Not looking likely but worth a try

Congratulations ladies on your BFP's, I hope you all have a smooth pregnancy from start to finish.

Just called the clinic and as I suspected, I got a BFN so that's me out.

So upset even though I knew what to expect after my HPT results. It never makes it any easier even when you try and prepare yourself for the worst. We have 2 frozen embies left but as they used 2 for this cycle I am just hoping and praying that there is a baby for us in the remaining 2 because I will never be able to go through a fresh cycle again, financially, emotionally and medically I just couldn't do it.

I will keep my fingers crossed for all the rest of the ladies who have had their transfers recently. to you all.

Well as suspected its a BFFN I am so angry right now because I wanted to get straight in to see the FS to have further testing because I believe I have an implantation disorder and well to be told that most of the Dr's are away for the rest of the month as well as August is not the answer I wanted to hear!

Does anyone have or know anyone who has had an implantation disorder who can give me some more info?

Sorry to hear Catttc and not being able to get back in just adds insult to injury. Ive never heard of implantation disorder, what makes you think you have it?

Catttc - So sorry to hear your crappy news, it really sucks doesn't it. I can understand why you're angry. When you get a BFN you feel like you just want answers and to get proactive and get the result you want next time. We pay these clinics so much money that it feels like a slap in the face when they can't give you answers. Better luck next time for both of us

Wishnhope - The clinic said I could start again on day 1 of my next period but even that makes me so angry because they just assume we have endless pots of money we can dip into to have another go each month. Even with the money you get back on Medicare it's still very costly. I will probably have to leave it until my August period now as we have to sign consent forms again before we can start the whole process once more but it's difficult with my DH working away. He won't be here in the next week so won't be able to sign consents in time for this month. I literally have no patience with this whole thing. Doesn't help that 4 friends are currently pregnant! I was hoping to be number 5 in the pregnancy group but it wasn't to be

Orchids - Yeah the next FET will be the one. I just hope that they survive the thawing process so we have 2 chances. I didn't even consider one wouldn't survive the thawing process this time as I thought the techniques they use now were pretty fail proof but obviously not.

klong - i'm so sorry to hear that Been thinking of you since I saw your post from earlier today. Look after yourself & all the best with the next FET! Catttc - big hugs for you too . It's terrible that you can't get in to see a specialist for so long! Sorry I don't have any experience with implantation disorder. Hope you get some answers soon.
