    Default Sleeping like a baby

At the risk of starting another heated debate has anyone read/ used Pinky Mckays 'Sleeping like a baby'. If so please give honest opinions good and bad.

I have read it. Basically the gist of it is that youngbabies are not biologically designed to sleep by themselves for hours through the night - they require more frequent feeding, comforting and nurturing than that. I found it very reassuring when i read it as my DS woke very frequently and I could only get through it by co-sleeping and feeding to sleep, which Pinky says is normal and okay. However, if you're after 'techniques' I would say its not that useful as her approach is pretty much that most babies don't sleep through the night and we shouldn't expect them to.
