Default Melbourne Couple Wanting To Start a Loving Family

Egg Donor Angel Needed To Start a Loving Family

We are a happily married and stable professional couple living in Melbourne. We love our life together but dearly wish for a child to complete our family and enrich our lives.

Having been down the road of naturopaths, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and five unsuccessful IVF cycles, we were told that our only hope of having children was through egg donation.

In 2012, we travelled twice overseas for donor egg treatment to help us
achieve our dream of becoming parents. After three rounds of embryo transfers and two pregnancies, I devastatingly miscarried, the last being at twenty weeks gestation.

We adore children and have lots of love to give a child with grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins and dear friends eagerly waiting to welcome a new baby into the family.

We are looking for a kind hearted, generous ‘Angel’ to donate her eggs. If you are under 35 (ideally with your own family), and are able to help us with the greatest gift of life, we would love to hear from you. All travel and medical expenses will be reimbursed.

    Hi

I came across this forum recently, and thought it was perfect for me and my husband.

Born and raised in Australia, we have lived in Melbourne all our lives.
I work as a primary school teacher and I love children. My husband has an
accounting background and works in an office type environment. I have a 12 year old step daughter through my husband's first marriage who brings a lot of joy into our lives.

We met at age 40 and got married five months later in 2010 on Valentines Day. It was a whirlwind romance! We tried starting a family straight away, and made it a priority in our lives. We believe that children are the ultimate gift to two people who love each other. I dream of one day becoming a mother. Giving birth to a prescious baby and interacting with it would be a
    truly miraculous experience.

Having been down the road of naturopaths, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and five unsuccessful IVF cycles, we decided to look into the prospect of using donor eggs. Not having anyone that could assist us here, we spoke to our IVF specialist about overseas donor programs. She happened to have close ties with an Australian doctor that was now based in Greece. Over the past two years, we have travelled to Greece on two occasions and had three rounds of embryo transfers using donor eggs. Unfortunately, I had two miscarriages (one at 20 weeks gestation) and no live births.

Due to financial reasons, we are unable to travel overseas again and have decided to search for our donor angel here (fingers crossed). I have always been an optimist and have never thought of giving up. I believe that where there is a will there is a way.

If you are under 35 and wish to help us on our journey, please feel free
to get in touch. All travel, medical and out of pocket expenses will be
    covered.

I wish everybody on this site that is in the same position as
us all the very best, and I hope your dream to be parents becomes reality.

    Best wishes
    Talia

    Hi talia,

I am an egg donor and currently due for egg pick up on Tuesday with another cycle scheduled for next month. My advice to you would be to join egg donation Australia and place an ad there as well. This is my and other donors go to place when we are searching for recipients.

Wishing you all the best on your journey
    Amelia

Thanks Amelia. I joined EDA in March, but it has been really slow. I am active and log in just about every day. I was in communication with one donor last month, but she lives in Darwin which is the opposite end of the country for me as I'm in Melbourne. So that fell through. I thought I'd post here to broaden my prospects. Fingers crossed. xx
Good luck with your cycles Amelia.
    Best wishes
    Talia and Steven.

Hi, it may also be worth you putting your details on a connection site aswell as the other things you have been doing. The more people that know the better chance you have of finding the right person to help, knowing where to look is half the battle. If you haven't checked out Pride Angel I would recommend them, they have both donors and recepients so a good place to start! hope this helps, best wishes!! xx
