Default How old were your kids when you first took them to the movies?

As the title suggests I'm wondering how old your kids were when you first took them to the movies (I don't mean for a babes in arms session or similar), but a movie for their enjoyment.

I'm thinking of taking my 3yo to see monsters university, rated g, but I'm just not sure if that's a bit young to be going to the movies or not.

I took DS1 to see the croods a couple of months ago. He is 3.5years. 3 is a good age. He didn't quite make it through the movie, but almost got there

I saw a movie once at a Mum's and Bubs session when the twins were 9 months old. Other than that they haven't been, they're 4. No real reason, we just haven't gone.

I have taken all my kids from birth as the younger ones have been dragged along. DS is currently 2.5 and sits through movies.

Ds I started taking at 3months to the mums and bubs sessions and he has always been fantastic and would just sit and watch the movie. Dd 5 on the other hand is a horror she will not sit and watch she needs to talk, move and go to the toilet 20 times lol. I was going to take them both in the holidays to see monsters but after the crouds episode I might just take ds it's easier that way.
