Thanks girls. I'm a bit emotional this morning. The paed surgeon came and took River to snip under her tongue as she is a little tongue tied which may be impacting on her ability to latch. It happened so quick that he took her as soon as I agreed to the procedure. He puts all babies having procedures into the nursery whilst he assesses each bub needing to be viewed and as I'm in room 1 River was first. Thankfully she is sound asleep.

I knew that if you got a good stenographer, and some good pics then they could tell, but know a lot wont tell you either. but he was 99% sure it was a little baby boy!

My hubby had to have that done when he was a baby. He is completely fine now so it's not a big deal. Hugs huni xx

Aww that's no good. Hopefully your girl will be back with you soon. Fingers crossed that helps with feeding

Toni thanks for sharing your birth story. I'm sorry you are feeling emotional and that the midwife was mean. It's so hard to know what to do especially being a first time mum. We rely on their assistance & knowledge. I'm sure you are doing a great job with River.

J cute pics of Lucy. Thanks for sharing!

MCB insomnia sucks. I had it come and go throughout my pregnancy and remember the headaches from lack of sleep. Hope it doesn't stick around for you. But yay for today being the day you could find out the sex. Good luck!

Bond the mornings are so cold now. I'm in Melb and we aren't as cold as Canberra I know but getting up to go to the bathroom several times a night is not good. Makes me wonder what I'll do when having to get up to feed bubs through the night...

Channy sounds like a lovely morning and like a good day to do nothing.

AFM I'm 40w today!! We are trying to remain occupied today and not venturing too far from home. Lots of people are messaging us this morning and wishing us good luck for the birth... I have a feeling I'll be waiting a fair bit longer to meet my baby

River is back and did great. Was just sad seeing her go. Not sure if the snip will help because she has a recessed lower jaw as well just like me.
