Just popping in to say good luck to Maybee for tomorrow, how exciting!!!

And congrats to Lil Petal on your little girl.

Nila - your twins are GORGEOUS!! Feels like only yesterday you found out you were having twins! (I think from memory we had scans on the same day)\

Toni - glad to hear things are improving for you.

Nawww all these fresh bubbas, cant believe its only a week away from my angel babies due date Im sooooo sore today, my back is killing me. But despite being so sore I got a bit of a cleaning bug so my house is spotless. Didnt help my back though

Well done for cleaning your house. It must be hard with your Angel's due date approaching. Will be thinking of you xoxo

Ponytail- yeah the salts you chew were the other thing my midwife recommended. That and bathing in Epsom salts. But I just went with the magnesium option as popping a pill seemed easier and seems to work for me! But would have done the others too if I kept having problems. Good to know these things work as well as cramp is soooo painful!

Sorry you’re having problems with your sinuses. Must be miserable. Glad you’ve not got many yucky pregnancy symptoms (I was the same) but it does make you wonder if everything is still alright in there!

Maybee Baybee- good luck for tomorrow! Lucky midwives and visitors getting your baking!

MCB- sorry you’ve been feeling sick. Wonder what’s caused that! I love those photo frames you posted yesterday.

Channy- not sure about your PPL question….can you read more on the Centrelink website? I’ve got all my employer based maternity leave and then PPL set up ready to go but can’t always remember the details!!!

FTM- glad you’re back reading along and condolences on the family deaths.

Lil Smurfy- yeah it gets a bit freaky when you start thinking about impending labour! But if you start these methods for bringing on labour now doesn’t mean it’ll start things off straight away so don’t be worried because you don’t feel mentally ready yet. It takes time to build up so if you start now you’ll be ok. I am just taking a really proactive approach this time as went so overdue with Toby which caused a whole heap of intervention and problems……but it’s not necessary for all and certainly a personal choice. And it’s time consuming too…..everything is taking me about an hour a day at the moment which will increase as my due date gets closer.

How was your first day on maternity leave?

    Hi to everyone else!

AFM- went for a blood test to check iron levels today as I’m worried I will get very anaemic after the birth like I did last time so my midwife is keeping an eye on it.

Cooked a massive veggie casserole for dinner and will freeze loads of it to save cooking in the coming weeks….except our freezer is now so full with these home made meals that we’ve run out of space! Will be glad to have mum here to cook and clean for me too!

Back to work tomorrow for my last 4 days…..here’s hoping I can sleep each night or I will really struggle and can’t really take any sick days as got too much to do before I finish!!!!

My first day of mat leave was very busy. More washing, some study, and housework, then had friends over for dinner. I was supposed to ramp up the hypnobirthing practice, but just didn't find the time. I feel if I can invest time into that, it will help with the mental preparation.

I hope your 4 days at work go quickly, and you sleep well. That's great you've got your freezer well stocked and will have our mum on and to help out

Congratulations to the new bubbas born and I'm sorry for the lack of personals ladies
It's really hard as Vale is having a wonder week and just not sleeping! She had her 6 week vaccinations today too so she's not a happy camper
I am reading everything though and loving the updates in everyone.
Ill try harder with personals I promise.

Hopefully Vale is back into a reasonable sleeping patter soon. Poor little poppet having her needles.
