Visit with lactation consultant was good. She didn't dismiss concerns and didn't force anything on us. Have some exercises to do to encourage River to open her mouth more and put her tongue down. Continue to attempt to attach and go back next week. Another plus is my supply is improving. Managed to express 60ml before

That all sounds very positive. Hopefully the exercises work. Good news about your supply improving. I hope you are settling in well at home

Bond - I am glad your DH apologised. I hope you are getting some rest tonight.

Channy - I hope you are ok.I agree with the others, best to get checked by a doctor.

Toni - Glad to hear all went well with the lactation consultant. It took a while for my DD to get used to her tongue once it was sniped. Trust me she has no issues sticking her tongue out now

LilSmurfy - I recommend the ABA breastfeeding classes. I did one a month ago and found it really helpful.

Maybee - DH got a text from his Aunt today asking had we had bub yet. he replied 'nope' she replied 'when?' he just sent her a text back saying 'don't know the baby won't tell us' I mean seriously how do we know when I will go not labour?

AFM - big day at the hospital tomorrow. Last appointment with my ob before his holiday then meeting the new ob. Looking forward to seeing if I have made any progress. Spent all day keeping myself busy today. Took DD to her Gymbaroo class, walked around the shops, did my pregnancy exercise DVD. It's funny I can't quite believe its my due date. I feel pretty calm. I thought I would be on edge by now.

have not been on here for soooo long, but just wanted to update!

    we had a BOY!!!!
Born on the 10th June. A natural drug free water birth - was the most intense and frightening experience of my life but i would do it all again in a heartbeat the feeling after is amazing!!!

Our little boy is nearly 3 weeks old now and doing well. breastfeeding very well, but has a few wind issues that is making sleep difficult - i cant complain though.

Oh and we have named him Archie

Congratulations button!!!! Sounds like a wonderful birth. I hope to have a similar one. I love his name. Hope his wind issues calm down as he gets a bit older.

    Huge congrats button!!

Yes bubhub has been having mega issues today, only just got on now after trying all day.

I am not too bad today with just mild headache and nausea. I slept most of yesterday. Seems I had a miagraine which is odd for me. Hoping little peanut is still ok.
