    Default Donating Baby Clothes

I am wanting to donate a few winter baby clothes and was thinking of giving them to a women's refuge for those that have had to leave their homes suddenly etc.

Can anyone recommend who I can contact about doing this? Or would they just rather cash donations?

    I am in QLD

    Thanks

Google Givit, they will find someone who will need them. I gave mine to a lady I knew didn't have much, she was very grateful.

I just went to this site because I've a load of winter clothes from last season that my son has grown out of. I read the 'urgently needed' section and it just about made me cry, both with sadness for the people who do without the basics and with joy that so many of e listing were for people who are no longer homeless and now just need a hand setting up their homes. What a quality organisation.

I was the same, it made me sad to read such simple things like black socks and shampoo and conditioner are needed, simple things that I can easily pop out and buy if needed.

But it was good to see so many of these people are no longer homeless and need things just to set them selves up. I hope my friends take a lot of this site.
